Wrinkles
What causes wrinkles?
-As people age, fibroblasts become relaxed and fail to produce more collagen.

-Another aging factor which causes wrinkles and fine lines is the influx of the enzyme collagenase, which breaks down collagen.

-The skin is the body’s largest organ and has both an outer epidermal layer and an inner dermal layer. The dermal layer is made up of a protein known as collagen. As the skin ages, the collagen weakens and causes the epidermal layer to sag and wrinkle. Skin tightening tightens the collagen layers , which reduces the appearance of time’s effects on the skin.
